In 2019, Krueger received a second Best XI first team recognition after being named to the Best XI of the month six-straight times that season. In 2016, Krueger received her first recognition when she was named to the NWSL’s Best XI second team and followed that accomplishment with four Best XI of the month recognitions in 2017, ending the year on the league’s Best XI first team. ![]() Earlier this month, the defender was named the NWSL’s Player of the Week. Krueger is no stranger to receiving league honors. Most notably, in the match against the Houston Dash Saturday, August 5 in Chicago, Krueger assisted on all three of the team’s goals an achievement no Red Star has ever accomplished in any competition.
